The Solar
Boost 2512i provides is a fully automatic 3-stage charge controller
featuring patented MPPT technology. A partial IPN network interface is
also included to allow use of the IPN Remote displays.
Blue Sky
Energy’s advanced Integrated Power Net™, or IPN Network, allows up to
8 IPN capable charge controllers to communicate with each other and
operate as a single machine rather than separate charge controllers.
The IPN network also allows networked controllers to share an optional
battery temperature sensor and remote display. The IPN network does
not require a display or other special hardware to operate.
PROS
This controller offers you MPPT and three stage PWM control at an
amazingly low price. Remote monitoring of voltage and amperage
available with Basic remote. IPN Pro remote offers the best battery
monitor on the market today. 4x4 electrical mounting box included.
CONS
There is no temperature sensor input or equalization capability. Small
terminal strip makes large wire connections difficult.
